On the upcoming new album Donyaye In Roozaye Man, Dariush has recorded a new song "Gheysar" which is a tribute to legendary Iranian actor Behrouz Vossoughi.

The song, which just like all the other songs on the album, is written by Roozbeh Bemani and Alireza Afkari.

Gheysar is a 1969 film which featured Behrouz Vossoughi in the main role in one of Iran's most acclaimed films. The new song's brings back memories and nostalgic feelings as Dariush gives a moving performance. It is so moving that it is said that when Behrouz Vossoughi first heard this song it made him very emotional.

Also, Dariush was involved in the film as well since his classic song "Dastaaye To" is part of the soundtrack of Gheysar (correction: "Dastaaye To" is actually from the film Deshneh).

A special music video is scheduled to be created for "Gheysar" soon.
