Breaking News: Fashion Designer Bijan Pakzad Has Passed Away From Stroke

On Thursday, fashion icon and designer Bijan Pakzad suffered a stroke and has been at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. According to family members, Bijan suffered a stroke in the brain and the 67-year old was in critical condition at the hospital.

But on Saturday morning, Bijan's condition worsened and he passed away. An outgoing message at his Beverly Hills boutique said, "Today, Saturday April 16, 2011, at 8:05 a.m., our dear Dr. Bijan Pakzad passed away peacefully with his family members at his side."

Bijan's best known for his fashion and perfume business for which he has a world-class store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. He has dressed many powerful people including Presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, Ronald Reagan as well as Tom Cruise, Arnold Schwarzeneggar, Tony Blair, John Kerry, Anthony Hopkins, and many more.

Bijan is survived by his three children, Daniela, Alexandra, and Nicolas.
